Saturday 19th May


Cotswold Town Criers’ Competition

10.45am Parade from Community Centre to Market Place

First Cry 11am, Irish Dancing Display 12.30pm , 1.45pm 2nd Cry, 3.15pm Children’s competition, 3.45pm results.


Thursday 31st May


Fairford Festival at Fairford Library (9.30 am - 7 pm)

Royal British Legion displays & demonstrations by Lace Makers

Plus: Did you go to school in the Fairford Library building?

Come to the library to see the display about Fairford Primary School in the Coronation year, before and since.

Our “Ancestry buddy” will be on hand to help if you would like to research

your family history or Fairford connections further.

Refreshments available.


Friday 1st June


Fairford Festival Town Ball

  •  in conjunction with Swangrove Enterprises Ltd with music by the Lacey Mai band.

Walnut Tree Field, 7pm - 1am, Black tie.

An Evening of Live Bands

In the marquee from 6.30pm, featuring internationally acclaimed X-UFO as part of their "Onwards and Upwards Tour 2012" (featuring former members of Thin Lizzy and UFOprior to their appearance in Bolton on 3rd June)

11.50am Unveiling of new Jubilee bench at the Park Entrance.

11.55am RAF Hawk Display Aircraft Flypast.

12 noon Festival Parade at Park Entrance. Assemble at 11.45am.

3pm Children’s Street Party in the Market Place. Magic Jake children’s entertainer.

Fancy dress, funfair. Free to attend.

8.15pm Community Street Party with music by Jaxx in the Market Place. Free to attend.

9.45pm approx Lighting of Jubilee Beacon – The Green (Milton Farm field)
