An Afternoon of Fete Fun and Games
12.30pm – 4.30pm: a mix of traditional games and stalls, and some new ones too! A table-top sale, entertainment and fun for all!
Past Times Living History
12.30pm – 1.15pm: Past-Times Living History are back this year and in true time travelling style instead of giving us 400 years of British Queens they will be swapping their Crowns for Stetsons to present 400 years of the New World across the Pond .... America!
Join them for a whilst stop insight into a few of the characters who helped shape what was to become the United States of America. Who were the first Europeans to arrive and just how tough was it to make the New World their home? Plus get a peek at life in the Wild West including hearing from a well-known sharpshooter!
Have a go at their fun quiz and test your knowledge of the U S of A! (although if you listen carefully you may hear the answers!)
A family friendly fact filled forage back in time to a land far far away, so....
Don't take the fifth, instead Jump on the Bandwagon come shoot the breeze and ride shotgun in the marquee. Yeehaw!

Fairford Festival Baking Competition
1pm - 2pm - There will be two categories to enter, one for adults and one for children:
Adults this year we will be asking our bakers for their best Lemon Meringue Pie.
For children and in honour of the Festival’s American theme we would like USA-style decorated cupcakes.
We will judge in two different age groups. Under 7s & Over 7s.
All entries to arrive between 1-2pm on Sunday 5th June. Winners announced in main tent at 3pm.

1.00pm – 2.00pm Baking Competition – prizes for children (under 12 years) best American-themed decorated cupcakes. Bring your entry to the Book Fest marquee between 1.00pm-2.00pm. Judging starts at 2pm. We will judge in two different age groups; Under 7s and Over 7s. Winners announced at 3pm in the main marquee.
