Join Dr Richard Rolfe (University of Gloucestershire) for a bat walk around Fairford.
Did you know that we have around 18 species of bats in the UK and around five in Fairford.
Join us for a casual walk around Fairford as we talk about bats and hopefully see them in flight. Using our bat detectors, we will be able to listen to them calling and identify some of the species we find.
We will meet for a brief introductory talk before we start our walk. The walk will aim to last between 60-90 minutes depending on what we find, but you are welcome to leave at any point.
Meet time 9pm at Fairford Cricket Club. Duration no more than 90 minutes (weather dependent).
Please wear outdoor footwear, warm clothing, and bring a torch. No unaccompanied children.
